Willy became a part of our family at the tender age of 8 weeks old in September, 2001. He chose us as his parents
and little did he know that he would be making a long road trip on the Alcan Highway from Portland, Oregon to live in Fairbanks,
Alaska. He was such a little trooper on the trip and that's how his name became "Happy Go Lucky Alcan Willy".
When Willy was nearly two years old, we were blessed on April 25, 2003 with another addition to our family -- his name is
Goober! Goober was three years old and was being relinquished by his original owner because he was moving to Phonex,
Arizona and thought it would be cruel to take him to such a hot climate when he's been so use to Alaska. Willy and Goober
bonded immediately and are the best of buds.
